Things Erynn Says

"Mom you are the strong parent.  You are the builder of our family.  Daddy is the one who hands you the screws.  I am the hammer to help you.  The screws are filled with happy words, sad words, mean words, bad words, good advice and bad advice. We are building as a family and every piece of wood has something to do in our family. The screws answer it.  If they are not right your golden hammer when it touches the screws it turns them right." 

Kind of profound!

"So and so at school said that G said the s word.  I got no idea what the s word is, not the h word or the f word either.  These kids think I should know."  

I said well just ask them if they are asking about soup, flowers or hair.
