Potty Training

Frustrated is not really the term I would use for Erynn learning to potty but it is the best I can come up with without resorting to foul language. She will be 3 years old in a couple of months and you start to worry that she will be wearing pull ups in 1st grade. The real worry not being her age then but that pull ups just don't come in sizes larger than she is wearing now. However, today has been a very good day. Every time (and that has been 5 times) that she had to go today she actually realized that she had to. She told us and she went to the potty and did not once wet on herself. This is truly amazing considering that her Grandma, Grandpa and Uncle John all visited with her today so the distractions were endless and should have made her pay no attention to needing to potty. Maybe finally she has figured it all out. Of course, I will not get excited over one day but it was very nice. I keep telling myself that like the sleeping, one day we will look back and not even remember the no potty days. My little girl is growing up and I am happy for her!
